LITTLE MARLOW VILLAGE AMENITIES COMMITTEE

Little Marlow Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday

25th August 2008

The Residents of Little Marlow have held a Village Fete on August Bank Holiday Monday for well over 30 years. The Fete is run by the Little Marlow Amenities Committee which is elected at an annual public meeting to which all villagers are invited.

The fete was very popular again this year and with so many visitors, money has been
raised for local causes. Thank you to all who attended, and all who helped to make
the day such a success.
As usual, the Parish Council’s stand was a focal point of interest, and our new Local
History project was very popular and many people enjoyed reminiscing about the old
days in Little Marlow and Well End, and the old photographs and maps were of great
fascination. Due to the display, we have received several old photographs and
information about local houses, families and events
