Little Marlow are celebrating the arrival of a new bus route. The number 400 bus links Little Marlow with Marlow, Bourne End, Flackwell Heath, High Wycombe and Stokenchurch. The service runs seven times a day from Monday to Friday. A timetable is available from the Carousel bus company on 01494 521214. Residents have been urged by Little Marlow parish councillors to make use of the new route. A transport survey carried out in the summer found residents did not like using public transport because it was inconvenient and did not go to the right areas. It revealed most people would regularly use the new buses for going to work and for shopping. It also found that people were afraid of waiting for buses in dark or isolated places and felt unsafe around noisy or rowdy young people while travelling.
